Stores Team Leader / Supervisor
Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Marston Green. Our client are a leading logistics company and are looking for an experienced Stores Team Leader / Supervisor to join their stores team.
This position will be on a permanent basis working directly at the client’s site in Marston Green reporting to the Contracts Manager.
Candidate Requirements:-
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Stores Team Leader / Supervisor role
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and SLA
Duties:-
- Supporting and leading a team to ensure the day-to-day business needs are met
- Ensuring all staff are following Health & Safety, SLA and company policies and legislations
- Working hands on and on the shop floor
- Being first response to any issues onsite with the team, then liaising these back to the Contracts Manager and Operations Director
- Holding daily meetings with team to ensure they have full information for the day
- Recording holidays, sickness, and absence.
- Maintaining and recording material and inventory flow
- Working with various systems such as SAP
- Performing quarterly one to one review with each team member
- Ensuring all team members are trained to the full requirements – record and monitor this regularly
- All other team leader / supervisor duties
Working Hours:-
- There is a shift system onsite so you may be required to work shifts, however the standard hours are Monday to Friday; 8:30AM till 4:30PM with a 30-minute lunch
Rate of Pay:
- Starting at £25,000 per annum (this will increase once completed probation period)

- Extra day holiday added for each year of service completed
- Overtime available (time and half, double time)
