£10.50 - 11.00 per hour

General Operative/Forklift Driver

 

Our client who are a metal merchant and recycler that specialise in non-ferrous scrap metal are urgently recruiting for a General Operative/Forklift Driver to work in their yard. This position will be based within the Willenhall area.

This will be a temporary position however can be on-going for the successful candidate

 

Main duties will be:

  • Working with the yard area
  • Dealing with scrap metal e.g. brass.
  • Bailing, crushing, separating materials
  • FLT Driving when required – loading skips and stillages etc.
  • Other general duties as/when requested

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • In date FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential
  • Previous experience working with recycling or scrap metal
  • Good attitude towards work and happy to take on any duties required

 

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30AM till 4:30PM

 

Rate of pay:

  • £10.50 – £11.00 per hour (depending on experience)
