Class 1 HGV Driver – Permanent

Pay: £17.89 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week
Contract: Permanent from day one

We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver with steel delivery experience to join an established transport team.

The Role

You’ll deliver steel products to construction sites, motorway compounds and other customer locations across the region.

Early starts are required, with some shifts starting from around 4:00am. Drivers are generally back at the yard around 2:00pm, making this a predominantly home-daily position.

You’ll need

• Valid Class 1 HGV licence and CPC
• Steel delivery experience – essential
• Good safety awareness and customer service skills
• Flexibility for early starts
• HIAB experience is advantageous, but training can be provided
